Deborah Bock-Satterfield

  • Deborah Carol Bock-Satterfield was born on June 15, 1958 in Fairmont the eldest daughter of three children.

Debbie was a lover of animals and an avid horseback rider. She was a member of the Bunner Ridge Riding Association. Debbie’s family is grateful for the attentiveness and kindness the group provided during Debbie’s illness. Debbie worked as a Home Health Care provider in Marion County. Debbie had a special gift of rehabilitating animals with special needs and fostered many furry friends. Debbie amazed her family and friends with her strong-willed fight against breast cancer over these past nine months. The Lord called her home, with her family at her side, on Saturday, February 19, 2011 while under the compassionate care of the staff at the United Hospital Center. She was a member of the Viola Church led by Pastor Scott Krepps.

Ms. Satterfield is survived by her loving mother, Barbara Bock-Barnes and her step father, Thomas Barnes of Fairmont. She was preceded in death by her father, William “Bill” Bock. Ms. Satterfield is also survived by two brothers and their spouses, Douglas and Lori Bock of Wellington, Florida and Randy and Carol Bock of Springfield, Tennessee and her step sister, Allyson Cavrich of Fairmont. She is further survived by nieces, great nieces, wonderful close friends, her Gramsie Bernice Johnson, many aunts, uncles and cousins that loved her very much.

There will be a celebration of Debbie’s life held at a later date. Please check the following website for information regarding Debbie’s celebration of life ceremony.
